This class will take place in the Gemeente Museum, where we will experience the mobiles and immobiles of Alexander Calder, to three-dimensionalise our discussion of contemporary movements revolving around paintings, politics, and painting politics. We will also inspect Hans Op de Beeck's Staging Silence to anticipate Session 5.
