What are the qualities of different means and modes of expression, on the one hand, and how are these qualities received? We will explore the relationship between actor and audience, widely construed, in various genres of artistic practice which lead to what Hannah Arendt coins 'self-disclosure through speech and action', so as to achieve freedom and the political.
